This quietly disturbing scene is Frank Frazetta's most subtle of the series. The looming orb and distant stars are beautifully rendered with textural sensitivity. Together they imply the silence of deep space without detracting from the characters. This Frazetta masterpiece (and others on this series) would set a high standard for sci-fi comics in decades to come.
