Uncle Scrooge Goes To Disneyland #1 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge Goes To Disneyland (Dell Giant) #1, 1957 - Uncle Scrooge and a bevy of characters make a day of Disney's first theme park. While this comic seems an opportune promotion for Disneyland, very few of the attractions are actually shown. The main story is interspersed with untitled shorter segments, featuring Alice in Wonderland, Mickey Mouse and Goofy and the Junior Woodchucks. The opening Carl Barks tale is exceptional, filling skillfully drawn characters within large and sometimes irregular-shaped panels.
