Legion of Super-Heroes v2 #272 - Steve Ditko art

Legion of Super-Heroes v2 #272
Legion of Super-Heroes v2 #272, 1981 - While applying to become a Legionnaire, the indestructible Blok recounts his origins and initial mistake in joining the League of Super Assassins. While certain pages are better than others (see interior page below), overall Steve Ditko does a credible job with the imagery. Some of the appeal can be attributed to inker Frank Chiaramonte, who occasionally mimics the style of Wally Wood and Wayne Howard. Other artists in this copper age comic include Carmine Infantino and Jimmy Janes. Cover by Dick Giordano. This is 3 of 6 Legion of Super-Heroes v2 issues by Ditko.
