Steve Ditko's pencils are inked by another artist, in this case Mike Peppe. Although he brings a softer, more realistic approach, the original drawings retain much of their distinctiveness. By comparison, the all-Ditko cover is more stark, serious and graphically rendered. Most noteworthy is the textural brushwork, painstakingly applied to simulate rainwater. This is 5 of 6
