Wolverine #2 - Frank Miller art & cover

Wolverine (limited series) #2, 1982 - A mysterious woman named Yukio is introduced to the storyline, just as she and Wolverine are surrounded by a sea of Japanese ninjas. The battle immediately leads to the rooftops, rendered in an infinitely spacious double page spread. A masterpiece in composition, a multitude of taut arrows and drawn swords point directly toward the focal point. The following title page highlights the characters through a deadly barrage of arrows. While the remaining pages slightly diminish, Frank Miller continues to exemplify some the finest work of the 1980s. This is number 2 of 4 Wolverine issues with Miller art and/or covers.
