Close Shaves of Pauline Peril v1 #1, 1970 - A cartoon parody of the Perils of Pauline film serials of the 1910s, Pauline Peril is a young newspaper reporter and daughter of a multi-millionaire. Her evil editor sends her out on dangerous assignments, aspiring to take over the paper himself. This first issue was written by Del Connell and drawn by Jack Manning. Cover by Manning.
