Flash v1 #200, 1970 - In the series' 200th issue, the Flash is brainwashed by a Chinese spy to assassinate the President. Russian, Middle Eastern and Chinese interests are shown to be involved in the plot. Though fictionalized, Richard Nixon is never fully portrayed to help offset the shocking event. This Robert Kanigher story (likely inspired by the 1962 film The Machurian Candidate), was drawn by Irv Novick and Murphy Anderson. Cover by Carmine Infantino and Anderson. /// key Milestone issue
