Savage Dragon v1 #1, 1992 - Found in a burning field, a green man with a fin growing out of his head has no memory of his identity or prior whereabouts. With his super strength and other abilities, the "Dragon" agrees to help the Chicago PD (eventually). Note that the character first appeared in a self-published fanzine before making his first full appearance in Megaton #3. In this first issue, Star and the Superpatriot make brief cameo appearances, while villains Glowbug and Cutthroat make their debuts. This issue was written and drawn by Erik Larsen.
