Superboy v1 #173, 1971 - Lana Lang's father discovers a powder from ancient Greece that can bestow powers to any individual, so the legends say. When Clark Kent accidentally reveals his own super-powers, he uses the circumstances to his own advantage. Neal Adams' cover layout is straightforward but far from Earth-shattering. His figure drawing is solid, with just the right amount of detail and definition. Other artists in this issue include Bob Brown and Dick Giordano.
