Our Flag Comics v1 #1, 1941 - Hitler orders a full scale invasion of the UK, right through the narrowest part of the English Channel. The Unknown Soldier, an American hero armed with a special Nitro Gun, turns the tide against the Nazis. In a separate story, German and Japanese spies cause havoc among potential US allies in South America. Wearing a star-shaped mask, Captain Victory decimates their plans with his speed and super strength. The rest of the issue features various non-super, but equally heroic characters. Artists in this issue include Art Saaf, Bruce Currie, Harry Anderson and George Wilson. Cover by Art Saaf.
