| Lois Lane #1 |
(Superman's Girlfriend) Lois Lane v1 #1, 1958 - Due to the success of her own solo book, Lois would begin her own self-titled series. She's featured in a trio of stories in this first issue, all of which involve Superman as a supporting character. The most interesting by far is "The Witch of Metropolis", where Lois' research of a new Superstition Museum transforms her unexpectedly. These stories by Otto Binder and Jerry Coleman were drawn by Kurt Schaffenberger. Cover by Curt Swan and Stan Kaye. /// key 1st issue- - - - - - - - - -
