Brothers of the Spear v1 #1, 1972 - Suspicious fires have destroyed the granaries of both Aba-Zulu and Tungelu. Their rulers Dan-El and Natongo journey to ask a distant ally for help. Meanwhile, Queens Tavane and Zulena are taken prisoner by an old foe and his minions. After decades of appearing as a back-up tale in Tarzan, this first issue gives the Brothers of the Spear their own self-titled series.
