Falcon #1 - Paul Smith cover + 1st issue

Paul Smith
The Falcon v1 #1, 1983 - In the first issue of his first self-titled series, the Falcon battles a super-villain intent on destroying a building under construction. This new housing is a desperate need for Harlem's poor residents. Can the Falcon stop the destruction and keep up the hopes of his neighborhood? Paul Smith is responsible for the gritty cover, depicting a battered hero against the wall. Note how the background suggests the urban setting where the story takes place. This is the Falcon's first series since his debut in 1969 and follows his first solo book from four years earlier. Story by Christopher Priest (as Jim Owsley), art by Smith and Vince Colletta.

a great limited series for the falcon and paul smith shines with the right inker and colorist. my only problem is marvel always struggled with different races, most races are brown not only african americans. so they made them this strange grey color to show different ethnicities like spanish or arab
