The Flintstones v1 / Dell Giant #48 (#1), 1961 - Debuting on ABC television only a year before, the Flintstones appear in comics for the first time. Fred and Wilma's pets Dino and Baby Puss and neighbors Betty and Barney Rubble are also introduced. This giant issue is packed with humorous tales and interspersed with mazes, puzzles and games. Cover and stories drawn by Harvey Eisenberg. The Flintstones would next appear in their own self-titled series.
