| Little Dot #1 |
Little Dot v1 #1, 1953 - After years as a supporting feature in Sad Sack Comics, Little Dot appears in her own self-titled series. This first issue continues her quirky but obsession with dots and introduces two new characters in separate features. Charlotte Plump, known as Little Lotta, debuts as a heavy-set little girl with a good heart and a big appetite for food. Richie Rich, created by Al Harvey, also makes his first appearance as a little boy in an ultra-wealthy family. His story was written by Larz Bourne and drawn Steve Muffatti. Both characters would later spin-off into their own respective series: Little Lotta and Richie Rich. - - - - - - - - - -
