Zot v1 #1, 1984 - Moving to a small town, Jenny Weaver is bored senseless until a superhero suddenly arrives through a dimensional portal. Zot dispenses of the marauding robots that followed him, then explains his search for a golden key that opens a door to the universe. Inspired by Astro Boy creator Osamu Tezuka, writer and artist Scott McCloud begins a new type of purely fun science fiction.
