Unity v1 #0, 1992 - Valiant Comics' first crossover event, Unity pulls together characters from various titles into one storyline. Archer & Armstrong, Magnus Robot Fighter, Rai, Solar and X-O Man O War are among the participants.
Barry Smith does a fine job on the cover, but his interior art is somewhat tempered by Bob Layton's inks. General layouts and sequencing also seem to lack his usual verve. Note that this opening chapter continues in
Magnus Robot Fighter v2, hops from title to title, then concludes in this same series. Did I mention this issue is also an in-store giveaway? This is 1 of 2
