Sheena 3-D Special v1 #1, 1985 - Dave Stevens led a revival of good girl art during the 1980s. Working primarily for smaller publishers, this one-shot issue is arguably his best. His beautiful pencils and inks also benefit from the tropical color palette. There are obvious influences from Frank Frazetta, especially the jungle flora. Stevens still left plenty of room to make this genre his own. The interiors are mostly golden age reprints.
