Air Fighters Comics #2 - 1st Airboy



Air Fighters Comics v1 #2, 1942 - A orphan boy assists Padre Martier, a California monk, in making a radically new type of airplane. The test flight fails due to sabotage, resulting in the monk's death. Young Davy vows to repair the damage and take the machine to flight. Airboy proves his skill and courage by fending off an attack by Japanese forces. This Charles Biro story was drawn by Al Camy. Other artists in this issue includes Fred Kida, John Cassone, Harry Sahle and Bob Fujitani.
