| Mac Raboy |
Captain Marvel Jr. v1 #7, 1943 - Writing onto a massive tome, our young hero becomes distracted and settles into daydreaming. His wrestling with a large marlin could be reminiscing a past event or a challenge unfulfilled. Regardless, Mac Raboy's drawing and composition are perfect. Details and shading on Freddy Freeman's face and clothing add greater dimension and interest. In my opinion, this Raboy's finest cover on the series. Other artists in this issue includes Al Carreno. /// select Raboy cover- - - - - - - - - -
