Batman Nevermore v1 #4, 2003 - Throughout this imaginary series, the Batman aids Edgar Allen Poe in reporting multiple murders across Gotham. Themes and imagery from the writer's stories are applied in every issue. Bernie Wrightson's painted cover unfortunately does not make the cut. A weak composition mars his fourth effort, a scene inspired by The Pit and the Pendulum. Other artists in this issue include Guy Davis. This is 4 of 5 Batman Nevermore issues by Wrightson.
