Aliens: Earth Angel v1 #1, 1994 - John Byrne imagines a flying saucer crashing in small town America, circa 1950s. Clearly not from this planet, the pilot briefly awakens before an alien bursts from his chest. The ensuing carnage is depicted with large panels with often minimal dialogue. The artist's pacing is quick and frenetic, without losing much clarity. On Byrne's nifty wrap-around cover, the skull and crossbones on the biker's jacket (see above) suggests the carnage inside the issue. This is 1 of 1 Aliens: Earth Angel issues by Byrne.
