Thor v2 #39, 2011 - Perhaps no other superhero (aside from Conan) is perfectly suited to Barry Smith's neoclassical style than Thor. Floating through space, the artist depicts a serene expression on the thunder god's face. The simplicity here is perhaps why it seems like one of his less than stellar efforts. Other artists in this issue include Stuart Immonen and Wade Von Grawbadger. This is 2 of 2 Thor issues by Smith.
