Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #136 - Carl Barks art & cover

Carl Barks

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #136, 1952 - When Thanksgiving nears, Donald Duck and his cousin Gladstone Gander have a serious contest of the wills. Who will win? Donald's tenacity or Gladstone's unerringly dumb luck? Among the many Carl Barks tales pitting these two against each other, this is my favorite. The characters are painstakingly drawn in both figure drawings and facial expressions. Other artists in this golden age comic include Paul Murry.
