Marvel Presents v1 #1, 1975 - A gargantuan sea creature is lured into San Francisco by a mystical flute. Ulysses Bloodstone intervenes, trying to contain the destruction at city's edge. Brief glimpses into the monster hunter's past reveals him to be immortal and endowed with physical abilities. His full origin would be be expanded upon in the next issue. Decades later, his daughter Elsa would take up his mantle. This John Warner story was drawn by Pat Boyette, Mike Vosburg and Bob McCleod.
