Animal Man v1 #1, 1988 - Introduced in the 1960s, Animal Man was revived twenty years later and subsequently began appearing in his first self-titled series. Grant Morrison updates the character in this first issue, placing Buddy Baker in suburbia as a husband and father of two. Artwork by Chas Troug and Doug Hazelwood sets a contemporary tone.
