Power Man v1 #17 (#1), 1974 - Contacted by Stark Industries, Luke Cage is hired to test security at one of their facilities and steal an exoskeleton. Iron Man intervenes, marking the ex-con's first encounter with another superhero. Luke also adopts the name Power Man for the first time. This necessitates a name change to the series formerly known as Hero for Hire. This Len Wein story was drawn by George Tuska and Billy Graham.
