Avengers v1 #14, 1965 - Not much of a visual hierarchy on this Jack Kirby cover, but he does manage to squeeze in eleven combatants and almost all the Avengers (where's the Wasp?). The layout is still eye-catching, with a strong diagonal emitting from the background. Speaking of which, note Kirby's creativity with architecture and machinery. This is 14 of 38 Avengers issues by Kirby.
