Exciting Romances v1 #3, 1950 - Young and ambitious, Laura forsakes her fiancé and her own family for her job in a theatrical company. Wally Wood's drawings lack the polish of later works, but are distinctive for the genre. His layouts are fairly conventional. A noticeable lack of definition suggests perhaps his frequent collaborator Harry Harrison may have done the inking. Still, Wood's handling of characters' faces is especially good and his contribution is immediately recognizable. This is 1 of 1 Exciting Romances issues by Wood.
