From Beyond the Unknown v1 #6, 1970 - Insects riding humans on a horse track? Few artists could pull off this odd science fiction cover. Neal Adams, however, draws it in all seriousness and makes it feasible. The foreground figure lays out the basic plot, while the diminishing racers in the background establish perspective. While more than adequate, Adams' first cover on the series is even better. From Beyond the Unknown is mostly filled with DC stories from the 1960s. Other artists in this issue include Sid Greene and Bernard Sachs. This is 2 of 2 From Beyond the Unknown issues by Adams.
