Defenders v2 #28, 1975 - Arriving in the distant future, the Defenders accompany the Guardians of the Galaxy in their quest. Earth is under threat from the Badoon, an alien reptilian race set on conquest. Already the third installment of an ongoing storyline, this issue introduces the space-soaring Starhawk. Coming to the aid of Valkyrie, the hero made a brief appearance in the previous issue. This Steve Gerber story was drawn by Sal Buscema, Frank Giacoia and John Tartaglione.
