Showcase v1 #74, 1968 - During the prehistoric era, a teenage boy learns to become a man by defying his father making his own rules. Anthro makes his first appearance, leading to his own short-lived series. Written and drawn by Howie Post, this coming-of-age tale has plenty of comedic elements. His terrific cover gives no hint of that, but conveys the more adventurous aspects of the story. The background brilliantly offers glimpses of Anthro's world with minimal text.
