Eerie v3 #53 |
Eerie v4 #53, 1974 - Fallout radiation from an atomic war begins to turn the populace into murdering psychopaths, save for one lone journalist. This cautionary tale on nuclear power is unlike other future apocalypses, mostly for its absence of your typical zombies.
Neal Adams' inks bring greater depth and modeling to Vincente Alcazar's pencils. More than that, their similar styles mesh together better than expected. The result is comparable to many solo Adams works from the same period. As far as I know, this is the only collaboration between the two. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Tom Sutton and Rich Buckler. This is 4 of 5
