All-Star Comics #41 - Alex Toth art

Alex Toth
All-Star Comics v1 #41, 1948 - Touring the country with America's historical documents, the Liberty Train suddenly vanishes. Can the Justice Society recover these priceless artifacts in time? Black Canary earns her wings in this caper, along with full membership in the JSA. For some reason, Alex Toth only illustrates the opening splash while other artists finish the remaining pages. Not particularly distinctive, the same artwork is used for the cover art. This story was later reprinted in >Justice League of America #113. Other artists in this golden age comic include Carmine Infantino. This is 4 of 4 All-Star Comics issues by Toth.
