Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #249 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #249
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #249, 1961 - Donald Duck disparages his nephews for reading a science fiction magazine, then finds out Gyro Gearloose invents a matter transmitter based on the same article. Carl Barks' plot and sequencing seem more complicated than usual, resulting in some convoluted panel layouts. His illustrations in general meet expectations. This story was later reprinted in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #409. Other artists in this issue include Al Hubbard. Cover by Tony Strobl. This is 209 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks.
