Lobo v1 #1, 1965 - At the end of the Civil War, a Union soldier seeks a fresh start in the wild west. He gets a job on a cattle drive, only to be accused for murder and theft. Lobo, as he's soon called, flees from the law while trying to prove his innocence. This issue marks the first time an African-American character has his own self-titled series. This D. J.
