(Adventure into) Fear v1 #10, 1972 - Previously collecting Atlas horror reprints from the 1960s, Fear begins a run of original stories starting with this issue. After appearances in Savage Tales and Astonishing Tales, the Man-Thing begins his first ongoing series. After a recap of his origin, the story centers around a troubled couple and their baby. There are hints of alcoholism and domestic violence before the Man-Thing's intervention. This Gerry Conway story was drawn by Gray Morrow and Howard Chaykin. Cover by Morrow.
