Bill Ward |
Campus Loves v1 #2, 1950 - Rather than attending a prestigious women's college, Tess enrolls in state college instead, for the sole purpose of chasing men. Not surprisingly, she gains a reputation for being "free with her kisses".
Bill Ward shows exceptional detail in his artwork, especially on the opening splash (see page below). His level of effort is unusually high for this genre and era. As usual, he gives special attention to fashion and the main character's attire. Ward's cover revolves around a simple concept, but it's effective nonetheless. ///
