Special Edition X-Men v1 #1, 1983 - Sporting a new wrap-around cover by Dave Cockrum, this edition reprints the first appearance and origin of the bronze age X-men team. First published in Giant-size X-men #1, the story introduces new characters and an early appearance by Wolverine. Cockrum also illustrates a new Kitty Pryde back-up story.
