Coo Coo Comics v1 #39, 1948 - Frank Frazetta provides the art for three different text stories, each about an animal character in a solvable predicament. The tales of an over-confident lamb and a flying possum are nicely rendered. "Barnyard Hero", however, shows less effort by the artist than usual. Unconfined by the usual panel frame, Frazetta adds little depth and modeling to the setting or the donkey character. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury.
