Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #211 |
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #211, 1958 - An April Fool's trick gone awry, Donald Duck flies to the island of Tuku Tiva to find the legendary wishing stones. Carl Barks changes the setting in a jarringly amusing way. Perhaps a tad less exotic than the usual tropical exploits, the artist nonetheless delivers some of his best storytelling. This story was later reprinted in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #380. Other artists in this golden age comic include Paul Murry. This is 169 of 278 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks.
