Tales of Suspense v1 #57, 1964 - Not content to be a carnival archer, Clint Barton dons a costume complete with hi-tech arrows. Hawkeye makes his first appearance as a villain, taking on Iron Man at the Black Widow's behest. Note that this tale predates Natasha's own transition into a superhero. This story, written by Stan Lee and drawn by Don Heck, was later reprinted in Giant-Size Iron Man #1.- - - - - - - - - -
