Iron Man v1 #1, 1968 - Continued from Iron Man and Sub-Mariner #1. the golden avenger finally gets his own self-titled series after a long stint in Tales of Suspense. In the current storyline, Tony Stark is held captive by A.I.M. More alarmingly, he sees his armor duplicated and an army turned against him. While the main story doesn't reflect the importance this first issue, Iron Man's origin from Tales of Suspense #39 is conveniently retold in a three page backup tale.
