Imagine v1 #1, 1978 - Published by Star Reach Productions, this first issue is mostly printed in black and white. The sole exception is a Marshall Rogers tale about aliens, creatures and virgin sacrifices. Only the first page has text, which gives the barest information of a plot. This is visual storytelling at its purest, which Rogers uses drawings, patterns and textures to full effect. Admittedly, the colors add to the exceptional beauty of his work. Note that the cover merely repeats an interior page. Neal Adams contributes the script to a different story, in collaboration with Frank Cirocco. Other artists in this comic include Gene Day, Rich Larson and Lee Marrs. This is 1 of 1 Imagine issues by Rogers. /// key 1st issue
