Brave and the Bold v1 #57, 1965 - Rex Mason is a soldier of fortune who has it all, including the love of the beautiful socialite Sapphire Stagg. When her father sends him to Egypt, he's trapped in a pyramid and exposed to a weird glowing meteor. As a result, he's transformed into a creature that can change his chemical makeup at will. Metamorpho makes his first appearance in this comic, then appears in his own self-titled series in the same year. This Bob Haney story was drawn by Ramona Fradon and Charles Paris.
