Goofy Comics #25 - Frank Frazetta art

Goofy Comics #25
Goofy Comics v1 #25, 1948 - At first chastised by his boss at the circus, Ernie the Elephant's penchant for peanuts actually saves the big top. In another Frank Frazetta tale, a stubborn eaglet is forced out of laziness due to a crisis. Both stories are nicely drawn with ample room. "The Eagle Who Wouldn't Fly" is bookended by a large illustration at the front and a smaller one at the end. Not a common format in Frazetta's work, but he handles it with the usual aplomb. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 6 of 16 Goofy Comics issues by Frazetta.
