Witzend v1 #10, 1976 -
Wally Wood's goofy cover begins the issue, completely unrelated to his Sally Forth tale inside. This good girl character is superbly drawn and often scantily clad, designed to appeal to a male military audience.
Alex Toth illustrates a 1939 mystery involving a freighter, a sea plane and a mysterious passenger. Sophisticated in both art and storytelling, it's a fine work by the artist. Lastly,
Walt Simonson contributes a single page image of a dwarf-sized warrior, perhaps inspired by
Lord of the Rings? Other artists in this issue include Howard Chaykin and Dick Giordano. This is 1 of 1
