Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #145, 1952 - Admonishing his nephews for playing with a hypnotizing gun, Donald Duck falls under its spell even though it's fake.
Carl Barks does a splendid job depicting his hero in various hypnotized states (mostly other animals). This tale, which also includes Uncle Scrooge, focuses on character figures and expressions. Barks' effectiveness at storytelling is all the more admirable given the simplicity of the plot. This tale was later reprinted in >
