Epic Illustrated #15 - Jim Starlin art

Epic Illustrated #15
Epic Illustrated v1 #15, 1982 - Vanth Dreadstar and Oedi make their escape from the mining planet Tortoreezor. With the help of the sword of power, they make quick fodder of any guardsmen. During the melee, Jim Starlin uses the opportunity to recap previous events in MGN3. Unlike previous chapters in color, the story is in black and white for no apparent reason. Still, Starlin's use of various shades of gray is more impressive than most. Dreadstar begins his own series following this issue. Other artists in this issue include Rick Veitch and Richard Corben. This is 11 of 13 Epic Illustrated issues by Starlin.
