All-American Comics #99 - Alex Toth art & cover

Alex Toth
All-American Comics v1
#99, 1948 - Alan Scott goes on a long-waited vacation in the woods with his dog Streak. While fishing, they stumble upon a bank robber intent on retrieving two million dollars of stolen loot. Despite Green Lantern going into action, the thief gets away.
Alex Toth does a decent job with this early work. Some of the figure drawings and layouts may be primitive, but there's a high level of detail and effort. Toth's cover unfortunately falls flat. Other artists in this golden age issue include Art Peddy, Bernard Sachs and Howard Purcell.
